Water & Sanitary Sewer

The City's water supply comes from the Garber-Wellington Aquifer. The City owns and operates twenty-three water wells. In addition, three ground reservoirs and two elevated tank reservoirs hold 8,750,000 gallons in reserve for use and fire protection.

Water Conservation Plan

Watering yards between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. will help in our efforts to maintain water tower levels during high-demand periods. For more information, view the City's Water Conservation Plan (PDF).

The city sanitary sewer system protects the health and safety of the City. These lines are more than adequate to meet the city's needs. Sewage is processed and treated by The City of Oklahoma City at its North Canadian treatment plant.
