City Manager

The City Manager is appointed by the City Council, serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the City. Responsibilities include staff organizational management, personnel appointment and removal, preparation, and execution of the City budget, as well as administration of City Ordinances and policies adopted by the City Council.

City Clerk

The city clerk's office is responsible for maintaining the agendas and the minutes for all boards and commissions. This office is also responsible for maintaining the preservation of documents, contracts, agreements, records, and archives of the city as well as the City's Code of Ordinances.

City Finance

The Finance Department is responsible for revenue collection, utility billing, administering employee payroll benefits, accounts payable, budget monitoring, and financial reporting. The City of Nichols Hills and Nichols Hills Municipal Authority have received Unqualified Audits and Certificate of Achievement Awards for over two decades. The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report must comply with Generally Accepted Accounting principles and all applicable legal requirements.

Risk Management

The goal of Risk Management is to protect citizens and employees and ensure that tax dollars are spent to provide public services and not to incur losses sustained from injuries, property damage or damage awards. Risk Management handles several areas, including safety, loss control, subrogation recovery, liability, and property insurance, tort claims, as well as other multiple lines of insurance for the city.

Utility Billing

The utility billing department manages the utility accounts for water, sewer, sanitation, and other fees. Utility bills are sent out on the last day of the month and are due by the 15th of the following month.
